A Love Story
Our Story
What began in a place built on storytelling slowly became a story of our own — one shaped by shared adventures, beautiful spaces, unforgettable meals, and a love for creating meaningful moments together.
Katie and I first met while we were both working on the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Guest Experience Team. At the time, neither of us knew that what began as working alongside one another would eventually turn into something much more meaningful.
It was not until Katie decided to go back to Toy Story Land that everything really began to change. That shift created the space for us to spend more time together, and before long, our friendship turned into the beginning of our relationship.
From there, our story quickly became one of shared experiences and small adventures. We found that some of our favorite memories came from getting away together, whether that meant a weekend in St. Augustine, wandering through Savannah, exploring Charleston, or taking smaller trips simply to enjoy someplace new together.
Wherever we went, we were always drawn to the same kinds of places: an art museum worth lingering in, a cocktail bar with character, or a restaurant that turned a meal into an experience. We both share a love for art, design, atmosphere, and the kinds of details that make a place feel memorable.
In so many ways, our relationship has been built around discovering great places to eat. One of our earliest dining memories together was course dining at Chef’s Table in Downtown Winter Garden, and that set the tone for one of the things we have loved most ever since: finding places that feel special and sharing them with one another.
That love of discovering beautiful experiences eventually led us to our first Michelin Star meal together at Camille, another moment that felt like such a perfect reflection of us — thoughtful, intentional, and centered around enjoying something meaningful together.
Over time, January 23 became more than just a date on the calendar. It marked our anniversary, a day that has come to represent the beginning of us and everything that has grown from it. Year after year, it has carried the memory of where this story started.
Now, getting married on January 23 brings everything full circle in the most meaningful way. What began with a chance connection at work became a life built on creativity, adventure, beautiful experiences, and love — and we are so grateful to celebrate the next chapter of that story with the people we love most.
